TechLearnIT relies on community support and program fees to be able to provide programs and services to young girls and women in underserved communities.
KNOWLEDGE OPPORTUNITY EMPOWERMENT
To provide Internet access, computer skills and technical knowledge to girls (grades 6-12) and predominately single, female heads of household in underserved communities in DeKalb and surrounding counties. At TechLearnIT, we offer affordable structured computer programs, designed to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills during hours convenient to students and working women — after school and on Saturdays.
TechLearnIT's New Location Features:
- Over 15 computers with the latest 2007 Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher, and Access software
- Wireless Internet connection
- Conveniently located next to the Marta Avondale station
- Positive, safe structured environment
Your donations will help offset the operating costs for a learning facility that will meet the technology and computer training needs of approximately 14,507 minority females and their families in the community.
